WELCOME TO THE CAREGIVER CAFÉ

NO ONE WALKS ALONE, WE WALK WITH YOU

Welcome

Anyone caring for another person gets worn out from time to time and knows that taking a break, however small, can re-energize. Before COVID-19 burst on the scene we were planning regular Caregiver Cafes – fun in-person gatherings where caregivers could have some fun listening to music, sharing refreshments and finding information and support for themselves and their loved ones.

We’re not put off my COVID-19! We’ve put together a “tickle trunk” of on-line fun for you until we can get back to organizing in-person gatherings. Our “trunk” includes short videos of poetry readings, great toe-tapping rhythms, get-up-and dance salsa dance instruction and yoga for better breathing, stretching and relaxation.

Do you think these activities are a good idea and do you want more when we can get back together again in person? We’d like to hear from you. Take our survey.

Tell us if regular in-person Caregiver Cafes appeal to you, what type of events you’d like, the best time for you to attend and the best way to keep you informed. We’ll put your feedback into the mix to plan events you’ll enjoy.
